ワークキャンプの目的：太陽の家と地域・一般市民・地域の子供たちと太い絆で結ぶために行っています。あわせて、子供たちとの交流を多くしたプログラムを多く持って、これからの子供たちに国際的な視野をもってもらえるよう進めています。

8/23Pick up at Ome Station; Orientation for volunteers .wellcame party wellcame party KARAOKE Dancing all together fold time time!!! If we give our hands to them we get friends!!! みんな友達 You should have seen us at the tea ceremony the day after! ERIC (USA) we can be friends with fold dance. And we can be friendly with welcome party!!! 8/24Work with facility patients doing various duties 8/25 The work of the volunteers of Hinode Taiyo no ie. In this year, the NICE members go through the traditional Japanese culture as changing paper screen and getting organized the tableware of Samurai House. Beginning of our "masterpieces" SHOJIHARI (repairing paper doors) Thank you very much for this great experience, I will never forget your kindness, and hopefully I'll get a chance to work here for a much longer period of time. 8/26Playing with children of Kokubunji really enjoyed everything in this workcamp, so I really have to thank you for all. Thank you very, very much!!!You all were so kind!!!! Shokoretto eat from bamboo- totemo oishii desu! -ERIC (USA) Sarah said `where can i ear my lunch` as being surprised seeing so many children. , Eating NAGASHI SOMEN (floating noodles). making a hot cake!!! Flapping to the world!!

8/26all day event with local children: The regional,Kansai and Kantou difference of Okonomiyaki. Dinner in the Samurai house. No problems with chopsticks!!! Dacing the traditional Japanese one with physical handicaped in the Summer festival!!
